Children
All areas of ministry to children are supervised by adults who have completed
thorough background checks and feel called to serve your children.
We have a ministry for every age group of children.
Kids' Kingdom
is a place your infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners will
love to visit on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, and Wednesday nights
as you attend your own class on the main level. During our evening services, our Kids' Kingdom is staffed 15 minutes prior to the service so that you can
get to class on time. On Sunday mornings, their classes are open for both
the Sunday School hour and the worship hour, which gives you
ample time to fellowship with other believers!
Our Infant Nursery (0-18 months)
is a place you will feel comfortable leaving your child so
you can worship and grow in teaching without the
distraction of little tugs and pulls for your attention.
Our Toddler Nursery (18 months-3 years)
is an interactive area where your toddler will have the
freedom to move about using all of those muscles they are
learning they have. Bible lessons are taught at this early age and
children love learning about how Jesus loves and cares for them.
Preschoolers and Kindergarteners (age 4-Kindergarten)
are learning so much at this age, and here at NPMC, we don't want
to hinder them. With personal Bibles of their own provided in class,
children are able to open God's Word and discover together
how God provided for all the people of the world.
Bible Explorers (1st - 5th grade)
are dedicated to the Word of God! Our purpose is to teach,
inspire and equip our children through Bible memorization
and the basic fundamentals of the Bible. We meet on Sunday mornings (dismissed during morning worship) and on Wednesday nights in the
same room. Each child works at their own pace as they memorize key fundamentals of God's Word, such as the 10 Commandments, Psalm 23,
and the different Miracles Christ performed while on the earth.
At the end of August each year, children are awarded badges for their
sashes and recognized at our annual awards night and reception.
Bible Quizzing (1st - 5th grade)
is a strong ministry here at NPMC as well. From the end of August
through March each year, teams of children study specific books of the
Bible as a team and compete with other churches in our district.
One Saturday a month throughout the season, hundreds of people
gather to watch an awesome display of God's Word being hidden
in the hearts of His children! Join us!! Practices are on Sundays
after church and Wednesday nights before service.
